"I have had my insurance with this agency for over a decade, and I still don’t think this agent knows who I am. Anytime I have ever had to reach out for an issue, I have only spoken with the office staff. The staff is kind and considerate, but issues are rarely resolved with one phone call. Over these past years, working with this agency has been a headache. I pay premiums every six months, and in the last two to three years, my premiums have increased every single time a payment became due. Although they are quick to raise rates, they never seem to have an explanation other than, “Sorry, rates are going up for everyone.” My tipping point was within the past few weeks when I saw another $200 jump in my premium. I called and got the same runaround from the office staff, leaving me with few answers. When I ultimately told them that I was considering ending my policy after this term, I was provided with the most ironic advice ever: “Make sure you don’t sign up with a new agency that will raise your premiums after a few months.” It felt almost satirical that they were saying this to a customer who they just did the same thing to after 11 years with them. Although you would think maybe this would be the first time Mary gave me a call to speak about the issues I was having, you would be wrong. She has never personally assisted me with anything, just her staff. I was not surprised by this, but then something interesting happened; I spoke with my family, who also have insurance with this agency. The day following my call, Mary had her staff reach out to them to ensure they were not dissatisfied with her agency. My family has more policies and coverage than I do, so all she wanted to do was make sure the big ticket clients were happy and would continue to pay her. It’s truly deplorable that the attention she gives to her clients is tiered based on how well they line her pockets. As long as you are one of Mary’s cash cows, you will probably have a great experience here; I did not. I have already found a new agent in the area who was able to quote me auto insurance with the same coverage for premiums that average out to around $50 less per month. The best part was that I was actually able to speak with the agent I am working with and not just his staff. If you are younger or are looking for an agency that provides top-notch customer service, I would greatly advise looking elsewhere. You will not get a reliable agent who is there when you need them if you sign up here. TLDR: Stay away!"
